Her not being a girly girl did it for him. He said he preferred her in her combat boots with her gun. I thought they were good for each other, however I wasn't feeling it.
I liked that he liked how physical she was and was attracted to her brain and toughness. Like you, though, the romance was missing...too many moments devoted to resistance. I liked them both, liked that they were attracted to each other. But, I felt like I was reading about it, not feeling their passion.

That’s the right word...chemistry. Everything was there but Griffin didn’t mix the ingredients very well.
Liam was attracted to her intelligence, her take no bull attitude and that she was beautiful and wasn't using that to make her way in the FBI. Tara saw in Liam a really strong, take charge man who wouldn't take orders from her, or anyone. As much as she would deny it, she felt safe and protected with him and it pissed her off. I liked to romance and thought them well suited.
