If you run out of books during a certain month, you can use one or more of these to make your level goal for the month. You can also make up your own alternates, but they have to work with the challenge.
Alternate Options
• Read a book from the month before or the month after the month you’re working on.
• Read the oldest book on your TBR
• Finish (or get caught up on) a series (this is an exception to the nothing from the current year rule)
• Knock out all of (or as many as you can) of the books by a certain author on your TBR
• Read a book that has a title that starts with the same letter of the month you’re working on
• Read a book that has an author with a last name that starts with the same letter of the month you’re working on
• Read a book that has the letters of the month you’re working on in the title (does not have to be in consecutive order)
• Read a book that was published in the month you’re working on
