First book opens with a single female survivor on a military outpost station being discovered by the now unified forces ship, she doesn't know peace has been declared. She has been living the past 5 or ten years (can't remember) with the station AI as her only company. Help please, I can't find this book anywhere in my history or reviews and it is driving me insane.

It sounds like I book I read the description of in the last few months but that I didn't read yet. Google isn't helping.

I feel like I read it closer to the beginning of this year. It was recommended to me through Amazon after reading the Meerkiari Wars books by Mark Cooper but nothing looks familiar. It must have been a Kindle Unlimited Book too because I don’t see anything in my purchase history. Soooo frustrating!!
If you read it on a Kindle, is that Kindle linked to Goodreads? Books I read on my Kindle get shelved automatically, and I can look through my Goodreads Read shelf sorted by date added or something else useful.
If your Kindle isn't wired up to your Goodreads account, then that won't help here. :(
This does remind me of stories my daughter the librarian tells of patrons who want a book but can't recall the title or author. Sometimes she can recognize it from the description, and other times it's "well the cover was blue" or something else useless.

I do have my kindle connected to Goodreads, however it only seems to shelve books I purchase vs. books I “borrow” like the Unlimited ones. And Amazon doesn’t keep your reading history for very long for unlimited books. I know I’ll stumble across it again eventually but patience isn’t my strong suit.
FOUND IT!!!!! The Forgotten Engineer by TS Paul. They’re released in short 90-150 chapters so there’s like 11 in the series right now.
