Just read!
2. Are there any books you're dying to start or finish?
I'd like to finish my last book for the RC, but I don't think it'll happen as I'm away Sunday and don't seem to succeed to read a lot of it each time I open it.
3. Where will you be doing most of your reading?
At home.
4. Are you participating in the individual board game?
Yes. I don't plan on finishing the board but I'll go as far as I can.
5. Is anything that's going to stand in the way of your reading this week? Let us cheer you on!
I'd to go to the library today to bring back books (and to pick a mountain of new ones) and I've family time scheduled outside for Sunday.

I’d like to finish Candy Cane Murder, make some good progress on the doorstep that is Fall of Giants, and read one or two short Christmas books. I might also start Truly Madly Guilty as it’s due back at my library soon.
2. Are there any books you're dying to start or finish?
I’m looking forward to reading A Christmas Carol.
3. Where will you be doing most of your reading?
My usual spot on my sofa or in bed.
4. Are you participating in the individual board game?
Yes, looks like a lot of fun.
5. Is anything that's going to stand in the way of your reading this week? Let us cheer you on!
Just the usual pre-Christmas stuff of shopping, decorating, wrapping gifts etc. All nice distractions really.
Now that it's Friday I'm hoping to really get into the read-a-thon. I do have my husband's work Christmas party in about a half hour but hopefully I can still get in some solid reading tonight.
1. What are your goals for the read-a-thon?
I would really love to finish a book since I'm egregiously behind in my goals for the year.
2. Are there any books you're dying to start or finish?
I finished Strange Weather last night but I was already almost done. I then started Hex which I've been really looking forward to. I now have my Kindle on airplane mode so the rest of my shelf doesn't return to the library. Maybe I'll get lucky and be able to start another after Hex. Right now I have:
The Glass Castle
One of Us Is Lying
Little Fires Everywhere
I'm really excited for all of them!
3. Where will you be doing most of your reading?
I tend to alternate between my chaise lounge and the bed.
4. Are you participating in the individual board game?
Yes!
5. Is anything that's going to stand in the way of your reading this week? Let us cheer you on! I have that christmas party tonight and we have to do some holiday shopping. But I should be able to get some solid reading in.

We've cooked up some super fun goodies for you. If you're new to the ATY read-a-thons, welcome aboard! To participate, all you have to do is make a commitment to read as much as you can for one whole week. If you're behind on your challenge or reading goals for the year, this is an excellent time to play catch-up.
This time around we have an Individual Board Game. Check it out!
Per usual, we'll be sprinkling in some little games throughout the week to accompany our bigger read-a-thon challenges so keep your eye on the Read-a-Thon folder throughout the event.
