Amphitheater

[Rock]

The assembly area takes the form of a glass-domed amphitheater with raised bleachers arranged in a circle around a circular stage that has a tall, ornate (possibly wooden) backdrop with blue lights. There is also a large, open area in front of the stage where students can stand.

As well as being used for meetings of the student body, the assembly area can be used for dueling practice, with the raised stage serving as the fighting area. The lighting in this area can be carefully controlled, making it impossible to see the rest of the area, thus giving duelists the illusion of being entirely on their own.

This also appears to be the location from which missions are assigned to students. The missions are displayed three at a time on numerous screens, listing the type of mission, location, and mission start time, among other extra details. Teams assign themselves to missions by selecting one and then entering their team name.

Ebony swooped in, an impressive display of the physical aptitudes and skills that a Faunus might exemplify. She landed, swooping with a gust of wind and expertly folding her wings high into the air, then down against her back, to avoid hitting anybody near her through her movement. Calmly, she had a seat, her wings creating almost a cape around the back of the chair and her shoulders. They pooled on the ground, and if anyone stepped on them, they'd probably get a lecturing.

Gale walked into the Amphitheater with a calm demeanor, she looked around the large room and noticed students gathering in the center of the room, while others took seats. She spotted that Ebony woman up the chairs, she wasn't hard to miss really. Gale shrugged the thought away and decided that speaking with her again might not be the best idea. She made her way over to a spot off center of the main stage and put her bag down between her feet.

The twins had guided Riona into the amphitheater, before placing their things down in the far corner of the room. From there, Mavi and Yahto went to look for seats. They figured that Riona had no one else to sit with, so they figured they would find three near each other. this was really hard, considering everyone was either sitting with their friends or sitting by themselves with one seat in between each person. Mavi had gone to search the right side while Yahto had gone to search the left. after about five minutes of searching, Yahto found some towards the middle and called over his brother and Riona to join him.
Of course, this gathered the attention of others because a loud boy yelled 'i found some seats!' while jumping up and down and waving his hands like a maniac. of course, Mavi had to make things worse by yelling back 'you don't have to scream!'.

Riona followed the twins into the theater. Recovering a bit from her little stunt from before she didn't bother saying much as she watch the twins freak out loudly over finding a group of seats. "I do not mind sitting alone, we were late so finding seats will be challenging," she said. She didn't seem bothered by it, she was more so worried about all the screaming.

Cerise walked in and looked around, hoping to find a seat somewhere in the back so she wouldn't have to talk to many people. Thankfully as it seems as people want to be more up front, she managed to find a spot by herself off in the back right corner, looking around hoping no one would want to talk to her

Eithne made her way to the front of the crowd, trying her best to get closest to the stage before. . .whatever it was, was suppose to happen. She paused and looked around the room, so many different people, from so many different places. This was so exciting!

Mavi had walked up to where Yahto was while Yahto went to retrieve Riona, lightly dragging her to their seats. When he came back, Mavi was already quietly sitting down, but he smiled and looked up. “Sorry about the racket.” He said.
“Yeah, sorry about that...” Yahto joined in, laughing and feeling embarrassed. “I can get loud at times...”

Cerise cursed herself for being such a coward when it came to talking with others, but it was too late now. She looked around the room, seeing all the different people and tried to shrink down even further. She hoped no one took the seat next to her, but she knew eventually someone more then likely would as chairs were more and more becoming a rarity, to calm herself she quickly started to plait her hair, waiting for it too start

[Ilsa]

Unfortunately for Cerise, the open seat next to her happened to be occupied by the storming queen of angst and edge. She didn't seem angry, but there was still a dangerous, almost unstable aura coming from the falcon faunus. She turned, measuring up the girl, then managed a detatched smile. "I'm Ebony."

"C-C-Cerise, n-nice to-o meet y-ou" she replied, looking at her up and down, stumbling over her words as normal, looking at her with a small smile back "T-t-thank you" she added as an afterthought

[Ilsa]

"Cerise," she repeated, committing the name to memory. "Why did you choose to become a huntress?" She asked. She knew it was direct, but someone like this girl: shy, reserved, timid... She didn'tsee how a girl like that would choose this life, even if she was capable.

"I-I-I am G-g-good a-a-at f-f-fighting, g-g-good p-p-place to m-m-meet p-people w-w-who are good at f-f-fighting, s-scared of p-people so w-wanted to go to a a a place where I know I'll meet p-p-people good at fighting" she explained as best she could, knowing she was difficult to understand

She listened through the nearly insufferable stuttering patiently. So, this girl was here to help herself? To bolster her own confidence and well-being. It wasn't a bad goal, especially for starting as she was. "I can give you a hand with the fighting. If you'd like, that is."

"T-t-thank y-y-you, w-would l-l-like t-t-too p-p-practice, a-a-am g-g-good a-a-at f-f-fighting g-g-glad t-t-to l-l-learn m-m-more" she answered back, her excitement clear in her voice, causing her to stutter even more, her smile increasing. She talked with someone who even offered to practise with her!

This girl was almost pathetic. "Where'd you get the speech impediment? Trauma or birth?" she asked, rather bluntly. She was definitely willing to train with others to get stronger and improve, but the stuttering... Even she was tempted to disregard the girl as hopeless before she'd even met her. The impediment would have to be crushed away, through confidence or practice, unless it became a part of a deceptive stealth technique.

Eithne started to wander around in the room, she felt like she's been standing around in there for ages! there must have been a late transport or something!

"Birth, rarely talk to people" She answered, her stutter getting worse from fear, suddenly getting scared and upset about her stupid stutter, she hoped she could look past it, but was rapidly losing hope

She nodded, understanding. "I suppose I'll need to talk to you quite a lot, then." She wondered if stuttering would bother the girl during a fight, when survival came first. She wanted to test it and see, almost. The girl was also so scared and nervous, Ebony almost wanted to protect her while she adapted to multiple people in her bubble. "We can practice together after the entry assignment."

She nodded excitedly "Thank you! Will be fun!" She replied with a big smile on her face. She met someone who said she would talk with them more! This was brilliant! And she would practise with her! She guessed she probably underestimated her in a fight, but that didn't matter, she was still talking to her((2 questions, exactly how powerful are these characters? By that I mean, how fast and agile, how strong and so on. The second one is would this group mind if we rped in the future, while this rp is still going on?))

((Initially, they have a superpower that is pretty powerful on its own, but they live in a world full of people with such powers. That means they're usually pretty average, but above those who don't have semblances or unlocked auras. There are plenty of people who can kick their butts, and there's even varying skill levels directly upon entry. They're powerful, but nobody is going to be able to last at all in a contest with a real huntress or hunter.))

She hadn't yet underestimated her. She did, however, think that her skills, however good they were, might be dampened by a nervous girl unwilling to hurt her friends, or naive enough to fall for feints or faked weakness. She had already assumed that strategy might be the best thing to train together.

the twins were sitting down with Riona in the middle of them. they were chatting away happily about the assembly and what they hopped would happen. "What do you think will happen Mavi?" yahto asked his brother.
"Well, i did some research but i think as of right now there will just be an announcement. then, from what i've gathered, we will all be staying in the room for the night before a trial to see who are teams are will happen." Mavi responded. he was a bit uneasy about staying in the same room as a ton of girls, however if his team consisted mainly of them he would have to suck it up and get use to it.

There was a sudden and loud tapping sound over the inter-comm system. "Attention students." rang out a smooth feminine voice, "Please find your seats and quite down."

A tall man, with grey hair and a dark green suite walked across the stage and stood at its centers in front of the microphone. He gently tapped his cane against the floor several times as he waited for the last of the stragglers to come in and sit down.

"Hello and welcome to Beacon Academy." Ozpin scanned the room again, a small smile on his face. "All of you, people from all across Remnant and all walks of life. Have come to this place to give your lives for the betterment and protection of all of humanity." He paused again, more for effect than anything else. Let the students think about what he just said for a moment.

"The path that you have chosen will be a difficult one. Wrought with danger and hardships the likes of which many of you have never experienced. You will be challenged in ways that you never thought possible. But. . . with patience, determination, and the help of others. I know that many of you will grow into the hero's and guardians that will maintain and improve upon our growing era of peace. "

He stopped, looking over the gathered youth in the theater. Not all of them would make it to graduation. Some of them were here for the wrong reasons, but he could already tell. Many of the young initiates were the very kind of people that would become great huntsmen and huntresses.

towards the back was a guy running his hands through his yellow hair, listening intently to the speech given by Ozpin. he was excited, but also nervous. not about not being able to survive or anything like that, it was the face that he was surrounded by all of these germs and he had run out of hand sanitizer for his hands. either way, that was not his main focus. his main focus was to figure out what everyone was going to do next, how they are supposed to find their teams, and where they are suppose to put their things.
just like the twins he saw earlier, Raiden did not have a lot of belongings. however, unlike the twins, he had enough for it to become a burden to carry around with him all day long.

After several moments of quite Ozpin started to speak again.

"As for tonight, you will all sleep in the main galley, locker's have been assigned to hold your weapons. Your other belongings will be moved when rooms have been assigned to you, please meet with other members of the staff to get your locker assignments."

Ebony listened patiently to the willowy man. She noticed that he only said they would be defending humankind, not both humanity and Faunus, but she was smart enough not to confront the headmaster on her first day athis academy. She was here to learn, not get kicked out immediately.

She was sure the overnight accomodations was a test. No way was she licking her weapon away. That puppy was sticking right by her side. Emergencies happened, after all.

Meanwhile, Rock's characters were totally here and listening.

Gale was standing quietly listening to Professor Ozpins speech, she was pretty sure he didn't introduce himself. . . then again Opzin was always a little on the. . . odd side. The speech was inspiring enough, as well as a bit of a challenge.

She looked around the room again to see if she should spot a few of the other staff members that Professor Ozpin mentioned.

the twins listened with their full attention. they were excited and ready. Mavi muttered 'i knew it' when Ozpin announced the sleeping arrangements and Yahto heard him. he chuckled at his brother. of course, they looked over at Reina hoping she would be fine with the sleeping arrangements. Yahto and Mavi seemed to have grown fond of her.

Raiden seemed a bit on the edge when Ozpin had mentioned the sleeping arrangements and decided to keep to himself for the night. he did not want any trouble. however, he did hope the lockers could contain all of his items.
