Well, he is the son of Satan so it makes sense. Also, he has the power to tip the scales between the two groups of 12 (is that this chapter?).
I thought he was one of the 12. He tells Charley so little that I imagine he knows a lot more bad things are about to surface about him...

I'm going back to reread, Ines. I may have read it incorrectly. I know there are so many mysteries!

I keep wondering what is going to be the truth. We keep hearing all the Apocalypse predictions based on their relationship and we know Reyes is the son of Satan but we definitely don't have a complete picture. Reyes is holding back info for sure but I wonder if even he truly knows the complete picture. Everything can change based on one different decision and Charley is sometimes an unpredictable loaded gun and you don't know which direction she'll shoot off in!
Reyes def knows a lot of stuff he's hiding, I think. He just gives her what he has to, but always seems vague too.
Can't wait to find out more about Mr. Wong?Reyes and Charley can't do Much talking, when they are usually always rolling around in the sheets LOL Lucky dog! Lol

couldn't have said it better myself :)
I'm not entirely sure he is, it is possible but I just have serious trust issues with the dealer, plus information keeps being contradicted,or proven to be lies to try to fill an agenda, after all supposedly Reyes and Charley couldn't sleep together or he'd release hell which didn't happen, plus I still think Reyes can prove them all wrong because of the love he holds for Charley! They seem to think he has a set path/fate but I think he can change that and refuse to be the big evil they all expect him to be.

Oh no, I meant I didn't understand at first he was apart from the 12 beasts, I thought he was one of them. I don't remember this chapter very well, I didn't meant to bring any more confusion! Sorry! ;)

Free will, right? ;P When it comes to Reyes releasing Hell, I think it means releasing his seed and (view spoiler)

I think that bit was what the prophecy meant, but of course I hope they find a way to show it was wrong. That dealer possibility got me shivering, I hope that does not happen! :o
You're right, he is apart from the Twelve. According to the Dealer, Reyes is the Thirteenth:He studied his hands. “While you are the key player in all of this, Rey’aziel holds the most sway in your destiny.”
“Why?”
“He’s the Thirteenth beast. Or didn’t he mention that?”
I read somewhere that we are going to get Mr. Wong's full story in book 8. And it's going to be huge.

Thanks for clearing that out!
Vicki wrote: "I loved it that Reyes is the 13th and will tip the scales. That. Was. Awesome."Reyes has free will. He can go either way. Love how absolutely fearful Reyes is to losing Charley's approval and love. It is simply adorable that such a tough guy has so much fear.
As for the spoiler discussion, I have been thinking that was going to be the key that has been discussed.
