In the beginning when she signed up for the website she says something about how she really should have read the terms and conditions of the site before clicking agree but she would find that out later. I am really curious what it could have said in their that she agreed to.
Yes, me too! Im afraid she's gonna not want to go through with it and then have a problem on her hands.
Yea that's what I'm thinking. I'm just not sure what the website could do about her changing her mind. I also thought maybe the site would send something to her parents or something, like it is only disguised as a pro suicide but actually tries to get kids help. Even if that's true I think she will fall for the boy and change get mind and then get caught and have to go away for therapy or something.
I'm on day 9. Day ten was hard to read, up until then it was kind of depressing but not to bad. I'm going to stop here until we are on the same page to discuss because I don't really want to say anything and give something away.
I couldn't wait and I finished it, there is a discussion guide with questions at the end if you want to use that and talk about it. Or not it don't matter to me, let me know when you finish though.
Ok. Wow. I'll try to finish soon. I wouldn't mind goin thru the questions at the end. That might be kinda neat.
Well ok. I might try to read some of the group read instead. Im tryin to get back into it, and it does seem to get better.
I finished and was glad of the outcome. Im wondering now if the website is suppose to actually stop suicide. It asks soo many questions and lets you tell your story and purge your emotions. Maybe its more mystical. What do u think?
Sorry I somehow missed that you finished this one. So did you like it? I didn't hate it, it was a quick easy read, but I really didn't like it either. The only part that I really thought was sad or hard to read was other people's story's in the sexual assault folder. I didn't really care about the main character because the only aspect of her that was focused on was how she was bullied. Maybe with a little more character development I would have fallen in love with the character and been saddened by what she went through but all this book really seemed to want to do was tell me that bullying sucks which I already know. Normally an ending like that, that don't tell you what happens, would piss me off but at the end of this book I rally didn't care. Also the boy was completely unbelievable, over the span of about a month she not only never gives him any reason to believe she likes him even a little but she is flat out mean to him (she even stabbed him with a pencil) but he still doesn't give up and there is really no explanation why. I'm probably an asshole for thinking this but I was hoping that she would fall in love with him and change her mind and then find out that he was plotting against her the whole time and hurt her really bad.
Yeah, I didn't really like it either. The girl wasn't really likeable and ur right about the boy. He wasn't believable. Why was he so infatuated with her? There's not too many explanations. I was kinda hoping the boy would be kinda supernatural when I read the blurb. Oh well, it was ok but could have been better. I prob wont rate it very high.
