SOLVED. Single dad romance. [s]

About a year (or two) ago I read a book and I cannot remember the title to save my life! A young lawyer leaves her abusive relationship so her friend takes her away to her parents lake house to get over it, on the way they get stuck in a rain storm and a single dad and his daughter stop to help them. She keeps running into them around town and falls for the little girl so they set up hang out multiple times. The dad is a miner (I think) and his girlfriend left him after a few months because she didn't want to be a mom. The lawyer is scared to upset her dad and doesn't want to work at his law firm but eventually stands up to him and thinks about moving to the lake to be closer to the miner and his daughter. It has a happy ending but I don't want to giveaway too many details or spoilers about the ending (and the drama in the middle)! Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance :)
