I completed From the Earth to the Moon by Jules Verne for this task. While very dry, I was shocked at its 1865 publication date. I wonder what influence, if any, Jules Verne had upon Andy Weir.

I finished my adult version book for this category finally, which means I tripled on my plan here!!!!I did end up reading Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri. There isn't a book that I have read by this author that I haven't loved. There is just something so simple and real about the way she writes first generation Indian immigrants and their parents/families. Just a beautiful writer I think.
Now I want to read Interpreter of Maladies again.
I ended up reading Everyone's a Aliebn When Ur a Aliebn Too, which I think is a bit of a stretch for this prompt but I needed something quick and easy to balance out my reading for the month. It fits because it's set on Earth (although I guess most books are...) and it's content is about an alien who is sent to study Earth and its inhabitants.
- What are you reading for this category? I read A Wizard of Earthsea, which has been waiting on my bookshelf for a long time already. This was the perfect ocasion to read it :)
