Larysa Fedori | 3 comments I'm looking for a story I read with the following (if I remember correctly!) plot points:

At least two people that wake up to find all of the windows boarded up in their home and doors locked.
Perpetrator of this is outside (in a car?)
Post-it notes and/or a dry erase board is featured as they try to figure out what is going on.

Is it a short story or a novel? When did you read it? Remember the cover? Author female or male? Where and when is it set? Is it horror, mystery, something else?

Annamariah | 292 comments Don't know about the details, as I haven't read it myself, but a bit of googling brought up Strangers by Michaelbrent Collings. At least the synopsis seems a pretty good fit.

I am pretty sure it's a novel. I read it at least 10 years ago, maybe longer, set in modern times, a suburb. It's a thriller, not sure it'd be horror.

Ah, it does seem to be a fit! I'll have to take a closer look at this one, thanks!
