Having a hard time with this one. I feel like all the books written in the decade I was born I've either already read or have no interest. Any good suggestions for 1980s?

Some of my favorites from the decade were Mists of Avalon, clan of the Cave Bear and the second book Valley of the Horses, which I liked even better, and Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe.

Thanks Susan! I've read Mists of Avalon - pretty obsessed as a teen with that series. I love the movie Fried Green Tomatoes so maybe I should read the short story after all these years.
