I'm a fan of Klein's but she's really radical and there's not a lot of room for balance and because of that, she's not for everybody. That's unfortunate because she has some really good ideas. One in particular that struck me in this book was that one of the reasons Hillary lost was because she ran on a platform of "trickle down social justice" (I can't remember how she phrased it) -in other words, trickle down doesn't work any better with justice than it does with economics and just because you appoint a black or transgender person to a high position doesn't trickle down to better lives for those types of groups. Not explaining it well, but it made a lot of sense in context.

There was a lot about neo-liberalism which I'm still trying to wrap my head around and of course, shock doctrine economics.

Klein wrote this book very quickly (which is unusual for her) and it came out before the hurricanes had happened, and in the book she pretty much correctly projected how our current president would respond to such a disaster.

I'm a fan of hers, though this is not my favorite of her books, it's important and worth a look. Bottom line? RESIST.
