Hi ok so the details are so fuzzy on this book in my head (which is sad because it was one of only 3 boos we actually read that year instead of watching a movie. My English teacher apparently didn't like his job).

What I vaguely remember:
It was about a girl. I think she was native american and I think she was a runaway. She may have ran away to live with her grandma. She looked just like her mother who I think was deadbeat. This book either WAS yellow or had the word yellow in the title. It was either written in the 70s or took place in the 70s.

I hope you guys can help I'm stumped on this one (no wonder, since the details are so foggy)
