Eliza Mcleod I feel like this is a really good theory and definitely something that I haven't thought about prior to this post. I do hope that Yrene isn't pregnant because she has so much to do and I'm not saying that you can't do stuff when your pregnant, but it's certainly inconvenient at war.

Sara Wow I never even thought about Yrene being pregnant! It seems unlikely to me but I wouldn't mind a baby in the upcoming book!

Chloe Wow! This is a great theory! I didn't even notice! But that would definitely be so cool though it would be bad in the middle of the war especially since I think Yrene has a big role to play in the next book...

Lydia I agree Yrene being pregnant is iconvienant and seems to much to add even for SJM. I laugh thinking about Chaol experiencing the pain of childbirth.

Susan Nah, I don't think so. It's just how he would rest his hands when wrapped around from behind. I don't know any other position that would be comfortable that way, tbh.

And having been pregnant recently, the stomach touching was more messing wth the distended bellybutton than anything, a nervous habit.

Morning sickness is not the same as seasickness or motion sickness. It's closer to food poisoning in that you're fine after a bout of throwing up. Motion/sea sickness is ongoing so long as the motion keeps up. Yrene iirc, was keeping that effect away from chaol, not the other way around.

Whereas they are sympathetic, they're not tied THAT much, I don't think, to where the emotions and other ailments are shared that obviously. They just know when the other is feeling weaker or stronger, and adjust accordingly.

Seyma D. I don't agree with my theory anymore btw everyone who's reading 😂 It was just something that entered my mind when I just finished the book.
