Thanks, Brian. Your post - and looking at the video - has prompted me to redo the amazon blurb for my poetry collection. It will be 12 hours before it goes live. That small section of the video has some great suggestions,and I intend to watch it later in full.

Had an online chat with another writer about this. He provided a great link. "..a YouTube video of a guy who writes mostly erotica, but also romance. He and some of his friends studied a bunch of novels from first time authors that went on to become best-sellers or respectable sellers..Skip ahead to the 19 minute mark so you can get the buildup. Right around the 20 minute mark he puts up a slide with their findings. It talks about what elements to include, how many words you should use and things like that.."
