"Crisis on Stardust Station" and "Shadow on the Moon": Two books in the "Cats of Space" series

What a great idea! A place to promote your book without spamming. I don't know how I managed to miss this thread until now.

I've got two books to share: "Crisis on Stardust Station" and its followup, "Shadow on the Moon." Both involve the interactions of intelligent cats and humans on a space station. These books play it completely straight. The cats are regular characters and are not used for humor or cutesy situations.

In both books the cats live on Stardust Station, the last space outpost left of a once-vibrant space program. This vast station is now populated by only four humans, whose entire reason for being in space is to tend the solar power satellites put in orbit centuries ago. The cats hide their intelligence as much from tradition as need.

When a solar flare knocks out the satellites and destroys Earth's industrial capacity, the cats must reveal their intelligence to save both themselves and the planet below.

In the second book, "Shadow on the Moon," a far greater menace threatens the solar system. But with the world economy in shambles, a mission to the Moon is not within reach...of any government, at least. Private enterprise just might make it work.
