Turns out Goodreads will only let your folder name be 32 characters long, and the shortest I could get it with it still making sense was 33 characters. Oh well. Like the title was meant to imply, I won't let this get me down. The holidays are here, the family is on their way, and I have my books stacked in anticipation.
This month's theme is Hollywood. With the holidays being abundant everywhere else, I thought it would be a good time to escape to the bright lights and streets of gold in Tinsel Town. So what Hollywood reads will you picking up this month?

I just checked out the audiobook of West of Sunset on Hoopla. It's the fictionalized story of F. Scott Fitzgerald's last three years of life, which he spent trying to make it as a screenwriter in Hollywood. West of Sunset has good reviews and I'm looking forward to starting it.

Kristina | 10 comments Anyone read the new short story collection Uncommon Type: Some Stories by Tom Hanks? I read a few reviews but am curious to see if it's worth the hype. I've got the audio he narrates on hold!

I've not read it yet, but its on my list! Please let us know what you think. I feel its a definite bonus that he narrates it!

I've heard mixed reviews of Uncommon - I'll be interested to hear what you think!

Caitlin Lopez Rogers (caitlinalrogers) | 2 comments I will be reading The Thirst by Jo Nesbo and The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. Both are book club reads, so maybe I’ll work in a few graphic novels for in between fun.

I also want to read The Hate U Give, and after seeing previews of Nesbo's The Snowman, it seemed interesting, even though I'm not normally a mystery reader.
