My books aren't a series, but they keep getting coded as a series...

These two books have been linked as books 1 and 2 of a series, but they're not -- they're standalone titles. (They do exist in the same universe, however.) I've had a Goodreads Librarian fix this issue before, but now it's come back. Is it possible to stop this from happening?

If they take place in the same universe, they are considered a series according to Goodreads. The series will probably keep being added back if it is deleted again.

Could something be added to series description that would "educate" readers that they are stand alone novels set in the same universe?

Perhaps she could write a "series" description and a librarian could add it?

Maybe I'll just add a line in the book description. It's just weird, because it's not a series, and they don't have to be read in order (or together at all). It's similar to Stephanie Perkins' books, starting with ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS, but I see all of hers are listed as a series, too. Same with Simone Elkeles and the PERFECT CHEMISTRY books.
