I first witnessed “The Maze Runner” at the movies. It was a good movie to me, but I felt like I was not getting the whole story in just the movie. This is the case with every book that has a movie, so I decided to dive into the book and give it a shot. I figured I would like it since I liked the movie. The time period between the time I watched the movie and read was at least a year, so it let me build my own setting with the book instead of letting the movie doing it for you. If you love action packed books, this is the book for you. “The Maze Runner”, by James Dashner, always has you on the edge of your seat from the beginning of the book when Thomas is being brought up into a new world to the very end when everyone is fighting a griever. Read this book and follow Thomas and rest of the people in the Glade as the try to figure out a way to get out of the maze and survive while doing it. There is nothing historical about this book. It is just a great book to sit down and read on your own to enjoy. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a book to enjoy.
