Hi all, in 2008/2009 I read a YA book about a popular middle school clique and the fact that I can't remember the title is driving me crazy. Each chapter of the book is from a different girl's perspective. The main character lives with her dad, and I believe one of the girls' names is Darby. I remember this because it was different from other popularity books - typically, those focus on wannabes/outsiders, whereas this book was centered on the popular girls' themselves and their inner rivalries. I believe the book cover was brown and the title was one word. It was a standalone book and I don't think the author was a prominent YA writer (author was not Lisi Harrison, Meg Cabot, etc). Any ideas?
