March Buddy Reads are posted - finally! I created the new threads and moved Atlas Shrugged and Nightmares & Dreamscapes to March as those are two month reads.

Please let me know if I missed anything or anyone! Thank you all for your patience!

The second and third place books for the March 2018 group read were Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and The Nightingale respectively. Is anyone interested in reading either or both of these books as a Buddy Read? As long as two or more people are interested, I will create a thread.

Mary Pat you have the whole Legends of the Empire series (6 books) scheduled but as far as I can tell only the first 2 have actually been published with the third releasing July of this year.

Is anybody interested in doing a buddy read of Bats of the Republic: An Illuminated Novel by Zachary Thomas Dodson later this year? I'm thinking maybe summer/early fall (anywhere from July to October).

It's a beautiful book with lots of illustrations, and some of the reviews I've read imply that the pictures are used to understand/solve the text, so I thought it might be a good discussion book.

I know it's kind of a long way off, but my spring is full of big reads-- Ulysses, 2666, Faust, The Divine Comedy, and War and Peace.

Yea, I did that! :) Whenever a series book is suggested, I add all the books to the list I use to generate the links in that thread. I don't always remember to check publication dates! I will be better about that going forward.

Interestingly enough, these books have all been out there for awhile so I thought they were available. Then I read in Age of Myths that Sullivan writes the entire series before he publishes any of them. So, while the books are all written, their release is staggered.

I will correct the list as soon as possible. And thank you!

I think I like his approach because u don’t have to worry so much if and when the next book will be released along with if the series will even be completed.

I'm in! These books were incredibly important to me when I was a kid-- I'd love to do a reread! (And if we keep going after book #5, I have a great excuse to complete my collection!)
