Book Description: The Best Shall Rise

New San Francisco is the only known city left on the planet that is still surviving the nightly ash storms. They survived by putting the American dream on steroids and have become ruthless in the process. Now this 'liberated' city is ruled by The General and his Inner Circle.

Now, Steve and Leslie must 'choose' whether they will join the ranks of The City Guard or to become one the esteemed Inner Circle girls. If they don't take this once in a lifetime opportunity, they will be damned to the ghettos of Edingburg forever where virtual reality has become a government subsidized addiction.

Steve is making a different choice. He will join the IRA; a group of philosophical prisoners that have escaped Alcatraz Island. Lead by a voice only known as "Mom," they are trying to topple The General's Inner Circle and elevate the people of New SanFransisco by freeing them of their choices.

But the philosopher's vision for the city can't be won by ideas alone. To succeed Mom will need Steve, The Mayor of Edingburg, and thousands of recruits to come together and be willing to do anything in order to free themselves from their liberators.
