Emily | 3 comments This book was part of a series that followed a boy through a fantasy world as he journeyed to find his brother that had been stolen by a man at a carnival. I specifically remember he was stolen off of a boat ride at either a carnival, circus or fair. All that was left on the boat was his teddy bear.
The boy goes into a fantasy world to find his brother and he is helped by multiple creatures including a woman with either multiple arms or eyes who is blue.

I read this as a preteen almost 10 years ago and am desperate to find the name. (From what I remember the book had a strange name but I'm not sure)

Any help would be appreciated.

Kelly (khek) | 270 comments Did the cover have the blue-skinned woman, with a fancy headdress, looking at the reader? I thought it was called Azabar...or something like that with an "Aza.." beginning... but I can't find that. The closest I came was Abarat by Clive Barker, but I don't think that's the book I'm thinking of.

Emily | 3 comments I do remember the blue woman on the cover.
Thank you for your help.
Unfortunately it is not Abarat by Clive Barker. :(
