Hi.I am Terri from Kennesaw, GA USA. I have a goal of 100 books. I like to read all different genres and authors, but am partial to historical fiction. I currently work at a county public library where I can always find new books but hestitate to try until I can read reviews. Looking forward to hearing about new and interesting books.

Hello! I'm Molly from a small town in the UK, just outside of Milton Keynes
I read a wide range of genres and generally stick to a similar genre for a while and then jump around.
My all time favorite book is 'Memoirs of a Geisha' and right now i'm making my way through 'IT' and 'phantom limb'.
I aim to read 35 books this year, though with only 3 down i feel like i need a few weeks next to a pool in the sun to bring myself up to speed :)
Hi I'm Frankie from London, UK! I can read any genre of book I put my mind to but I really gravitate toward fiction, fantasy, sci fi and of course, the dreaded YA.
I aim to read 100 books this year, despite what it said on my goodreads (I had to put it down because it kept saying how many books I was behind by and it kind of freaked me out!)
My favourite authors are Carrie Fisher and Libba Bray. I'm really excited about joining more groups and getting more active in the goodreads community!
Hello! My name is Fatima and I'm from Singapore. I've had this account and been in this group since 2014 and I realize it's such a waste to not record down the books I've read or review it even. I love to read horror, mystery, surrealism and good ol' fiction. Okay actually I read everything!My reading goal is not to collect the number of books read but to review the books to feel a sense of satisfaction after reading a book, if not I usually feel lost and still stuck in the story for days.

Hi. I’m Jennifer and I live in Orange County, California. I set a goal to read twenty books this year and I’ve already read twelve, so I think I may readjust my goal! 🤓 I especially enjoy fiction and memoirs. Last year I started listening to audio books and so I’m usually listening to a book while also reading another book or two at the same time. I’m looking forward to keeping track of my reading here and learning about what others are reading.

Hi everyone! My name is Kailey and I grew up in San Diego, but have been living in Australia for the past 3 years.
My favourite book genres are historical fiction and crime/mystery books. I've been reading a lot of WWII historical fiction lately as this was my favourite subject in school but I'm trying to read other types of books for next bit so I don't get burnt out :)
I started reading more than the occasional book here and there just last year when I had to start taking a train to work. In 2017 I read 26 books and it really sparked my love for reading! My goal in 2018 is to read at least 30 books, and read more on weekends as well as after work (instead of watching TV).
I found this group randomly but I am excited to become involved!

Hello, everyone! I'm Eliza, and this is my first GoodReads group to join EVER. I have finally recaptured my reading mania after many years of graduate school, and have some exciting goals for this year. The main one is this: to read 10,000 pages. I have a 30 book goal here on the site, but I realized recently that counting only books was keeping me from reading some amazing works that are fairly long, which I don't want to keep skipping out on. I have several book tasks to accomplish within those 10k pages, but I'll save that for the corner where we all keep track of our personal goals. Nice to be here, and happy reading!

Hi everybody. I'm Rachel from Iowa. I am trying to do the Popsugar reading challenge plus a bookcover scavenger hunt which I got from a girl online. It adds up to over 100 books I think. I am a full time college of business student with a 17 month old. It makes finding time to read a little difficult.
My favorite genres are YA fiction. I enjoy many adult fiction too. I read a lot of historical fiction, thrillers, romance, mysteries, supernatural, and dystopian.

Hi everyone! I'm Jhuma Khan from Assam, India (north-east region). I'm 19 years old. I haven't been a reader much long, I only started last year. I not only love to read but to collect as well. I love to read historical fictions, YA contemporaries, thriller, fantasy, horror and romance. However, I'm open to different genres.
I was browsing and I came upon this group. I read the description and it fits with what I want from my first group.
My reading goal for 2018 is 50 books. I wanted to go 4 books a month, so it would be easier for me to reach the target but my exams are almost here, so I haven't read much these two months. I am planning on getting back on it after my exams which means I won't be an active user until the end of march.
Hope I did everything right with the introduction.

First of all, there's no right or wrong way to do things here :) Great introduction though!
I see you like a lot of genres. Love most of them as well, including horror but not really into romance.
50 books sounds like a great goal. Will you be joining any of the great challenges to help you reach your goal? Or maybe some of the fun and interesting group and buddy reads? These are also a great way to read books you probably wouldn't have otherwise. And it's always a lot of fun to read books together and discuss them.
Just have a look around and see what piques your interest.

I love reading, I found it more interesting last year. I love the fantasy, epic, drama books, but I'm an opened mind hahaha.
I put myself this year a goal to read 20 books, my reading is not too fast as others, but I'll tried to compleate this task.

I love fantasy, I enjoy some sci-fi, I read a lot of books with LGBT+ themes, and this year I'm reading lots of sequential art. (Also, as a English major I would hope to read more classics. Maybe. Some time.)
My goal this year is 100 books but I'm already at 30 so maybe I can surpass it! I managed to read 104 books last year (yey!!) so I hope I can manage at least that but I might get busy with uni soon :(.

You're quite a fast reader I see. So it seems you don't really need any help reaching your goal, but there are a lot of fun challenges you might want to join anyway. Also I myself am a big fan of our monthly group and buddy reads, so I always promote those lol.

I have kept track of the books I've been reading since I was 8 and I have tried to add them all to my Goodread-account. I like reading most genres but mostly fantasy, crime stories and thrillers, and contemporary.
I found this group through me searching around here on Goodreads for nice, active groups!
My reading goal this year is to read 100 books. A big goal but I like challenge! Last year I re-discovered reading and have been starting to read more and more books in english. Mostly because I watch a lot of BookTube and can't wait for the books to be translated before I read them :) Here in Sweden crime stories is really big but it's fun to see Backman and other authors becoming popular abroad as well.

Hey guys, I'm Anita and I'm from Australia.I've been reading for as long as I can remember and have been a GR member since 2013.. thought it was about time to join a group!
I don't really have a favorite genre; growing up I preferred fantasy and sci-fi, but I've branched out since then! I go through genre phases where I just DEVOUR a large amount of books from one genre for a while.
At the moment I'm into historical fiction, mostly surrounding Italy.
My reading challenge for 2018 is set at 50 books until I get a sense of if that's realistic or not for me :)

I usually read Non-fiction, special preference for Autobiographies. I have finished reading 3 books YTD and plan to finish 25 books by end of 2018. Very ambitious goal indeed! Last year I managed to finish just 4 books and never had any reading goal on mind. Also, this year I took mini reading vacation for 3 days. So being hopeful.
My favorite book is Open by Andre Agassi.

Hello everyone. I go by Charlie and have for years. Born and raised and raising my children in Texas. I read a bit of everything. However right now I am reading lots of Fantasy and childrens/middle grade as I read my children stories at bed tine. I was looking for a group that was actually active. I tend to read between 7 and 11 books a month but my goal this year is to read more of my stand alones. I get sucked into my series and it is hard to get oit lol.

Hello! I'm Niwas from Singapore. I mostly stick to fiction and currently exploring classics for 2018 reading challenge.Just finished reading Demian (by Herman Hesse) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Chanced upon this group as I was looking for some inspiration for my next read.
