Petula's Changing Challenge

So, the beginning of the year, I challenged myself to read 20 books. I have always been an avid reader but discovered as I got older, time did not always allow it. I am up to 30 something. Most of them have been fairly quick reads, with a few heavier tomes thrown in. Reread a few books from when I was in middle school. Lord of the Flies reads differently than it did when I was in 9th grade. All in all its been an interesting journey.

I was just mentioning that same fact about Lord of the Rings to another member earlier today :D It's still one of my favorite books books though!

I upped it to 35. I just started the last book. I think I will challenge myself with 50 books for next year.
