Anne Monteith (eclecticbookworm) | 8 comments From the sample I read a mother and father, the mother has some kind of magical ability and the father was a soldier/warrior were through woods trying to escape those chasing them with their very young daughter (under 8?). The mother had been trying to lose them using magic but it wasn't working; the father told them to run ahead and he would stay and fight. I think she ran ahead, hid the child, shielded her somehow and went back to help her husband. (this was the end of the sample) I think the author's first name was Mark or Marc, I could be wrong, it was definitely a male author. Advance searches have yielded no results. I know it was to be a least a trilogy, but we all know hos that can change. I know the page count of the eBook was over 350 pages and may have been 500+; the larger the book the better I like it because I read so fast.
I'd appreciate any help that anyone can provide. Thanks in advance.

Glad you found your book, Anne.

I moved your request to a Solved by folder by clicking the small "edit" link beside the topic header (using the desktop website, not the mobile app).
