SOLVED. Children's book about jelly bean-counting contest. [s]

I remember a children's book in which the children wanted to win a prize by guessing how many jelly beans were in the jar. One boy's younger sister guessed 1-2-3-4, and all the boys teased her. She won because 1,234 was the closest guess. The boys ate crow because they hoped she would share the prize. I cannot remember the title or author, but the illustrations (at least the way I remember them) looked like Crosby Bonsall's.

Thanks. I have checked that particular book. It may very well be the one, but it doesn't quite match my memory. I am curious to see what people suggest in case there is a different book. It's certainly possible that my memory is faulty, though. It's been several decades since I read the book.
