Kristin wrote: "Both of your white cover books, When Breath Becomes Air and Grit, and your yellow cover book, Love in the Time of Cholera, are on my TBR list. How did you like them? Also, I read A Poisonwood Bible many years ago as a teen and really enjoyed it. How did you like it? "Hi Kristin, I enjoyed both Breath Becomes Air and Grit. Two very different books but both inspiring in their own way. I'm afraid I didn't like Love in the Time of Cholera. It was beautifully written but the I was not happy with the way the story ended and I din't like the protagonist. The Poisonwood Bible was lovely. Definitely one of my favorites!

Just completed my first #7 (light blue) - Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King. Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and I absolutely loved some of the issues it raised. It took me awhile to get into the book, but thank goodness it doesn't read like a normal King novel (I have a really hard time with his writing style). Really thought-provoking material. Definitely worth reading! I received this book as a free giveaway in exchange for my honest review. 4 stars16/45

Just completed my first #10 (red) - The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen. This was a really solid fantasy debut! The writing is clear and not repetitive. The characters are interesting and complex. And the story had a clear path with some lovely surprises. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars17/45
