I have a question for the moderator. I read the rules but I am still confused on two points. How come some books are available for 11 reviews, whereas other books are only available for 2 reviews? Moreover, how often does the review pool shut?

Hi - you have a credit for each time you read/review a book. The number of reviews available reflect the number of times the author has read and reviewed other books.

The pool never actually closes, we stop them and start new ones for administrative reasons. All the books that are in the closed pool just move over to the next pool.
