Elizabeth Norris I finished Me Before You and rated it 5 stars. It’s been recommended to me before by a friend so I had planned on reading it for a while. As expected, I loved it! I knew from a few chapters in that the tears would be flowing by the end. What set the book apart from some other romance books I’ve read is that it wasn’t filled with fluff. There are good moments and there are bad moments, there is a relatable main character, and we were also able to read from the POV of a few others, which did a lot to humanize their behaviors and choices. This made the answers less black and white and blurred the lines between right and wrong. I’ve read a lot of reviews saying the main character is unrealistic, but I say there are totally 27 year olds out there who don’t know what they are doing with their lives or never planned/thought they could go out and travel the world. I read this one really fast, but I found myself trying to slow myself down to savor the story longer. Good thing it’s part of a series. Highly recommended!

I am glad you liked it, Elizabeth! I really did enjoy this book a lot as well! I have not read the other books in the series yet, but I definitely added them to the TBR pile. :)

Elizabeth Norris I’m glad the movie was good! I noticed that Will is played by Finnick from the Hunger Games and Lou is played by Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones 🙃 It’s weird seeing her in another role for me lol.

@Allie Same here! The wait list is absurdly long! XD

@Rishabh I am sorry you didn't like it! Definitely not a book for everyone and that is totally a-okay. I hope one of the future Glowing Rating books is more your cup of tea. :)

Yeah and she was so smiley in this one compared to her role as Daenerys
I loved her dancing eyebrows lol

Sam is also in Love Rosie which is based on the book Love, Rosie

HAHA! I go in waves, but usually, I am a total sucker for sappiness. I can't help it. Pop me a bowl of popcorn, give me a sappy book and I would be happy for hours.

Exactly I love it too!
Sometimes though if a heroine has to be smart and she is being a dumdum I will envision slapping her in the face but that's it ;) :D

Allison I read December’s choice Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty in a day and a half and rated it four stars.

This is catagorized as chick lit so I am surprised I liked this as much as I did. But it was easy to read, an engaging story, and characters that even if they aren’t completely likable, you still want to root for them. I liked the set up of the murder....every chapter ended with quotes from outside characters describing the events of the book but they all had twists to them, or rather interpretations of how people perceived how those events happened. But you never got quotes from the handful of main characters so you go thru the entire book not knowing who the murder victim is. Kind of cool set up. I already had a couple of this author’s books in my tbr anyhow but now I’ll read them for sure.
