FYI, for some reason, Book #2 isn't titled that way. It's Darcy and Elizabeth: A Beau Bon-Bon Christmas: A Pride and Prejudice Winter's Tale. That one's shorter than the other two, but it does set up some of the pairs for Book #3.

This was a short, clean 4-chapters on JDK’s website. We start with Elizabeth and our dear Colonel walking the paths at Kent. We have her becoming upset at hearing the Colonel discussing Darcy separating Bingley and Jane and rushing back to the parsonage, where Charlotte talks ‘sense’ to her about what is true and real about Darcy’s feelings regarding her. We also have our dear Colonel trying to talk ‘sense’ to his cousin regarding Elizabeth Bennet. We then have them all traveling back to London the next morning and that in itself is an adventure. I won’t spoil it here. Delightful as usual with JDK’s writing. Loved it.

Everyone else can see it is more for Darcy: the colonel, Jane, Anne, Bingley, etc. So while at Rosings and Elizabeth doesn't show up for dinner due to feeling ill he goes and finds her crying and it dawns on him as she looks at him that she loves him. She refuses to think of marrying if he only sees her as a friend and thus he sets out on a course, with the help of his friends and relations, to fall in love.

Of course, it is Mr. Darcy and he thinks he has died and gone to heaven as he finds himself held against Elizabeth as she pulls him to shore. Upon realizing it is not heaven and how he has spoken words of love....again...to the woman who spurred his first proposal, he is despondent. Elizabeth has to correct his thoughts
