Thunderhead (Arc of a Scythe, #2) by Neal Shusterman

Whelp, I'd say its safe to say we have "the cloud" and a ton of technology and are making tiny technological advances that make it very clear for me to see how we might end up like the "Utopian" society that is in Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman

We delve further into the world of the first book and really get to see the AI, nanites, and other technological advances that have taken root here. Its a great balance of serious ideals and humor.
This book has some of THE best lines in any book I've read in awhile, constantly making me laugh out loud. My fave: "Voodoo!"

There's so much more I want to talk about but don't want to spoil for anyone- blind is best for this (just do a quick spoiler-filled recap if it's been awhile since you read this first one). It was SO worth the wait and I loved the sequel more than the first book. And I think this is still a duology? But that ending!
