If not, anyone have any suggestions for that category?"
Yes, it does. I see you've picked up Trouble in Mudbug. It's a fun read.

Can I report Badge 2 books that are part of the second round of 12, if I've not completed the first round of 12, to equal 24 total?
Thanks!"
Yes.
The second, third, and fourth badges aren't 2 parts each. It's not the first round and then the second round of the badge. You have to read 2 books from each sign in order to complete the badge. It doesn't matter what order you read them in.

Then I'm on the right track, for a change!
Thanks!

Can you clarify the actor tasks a bit for me? So, I get the straight up movie made from a book starring the actor. It's the other bits that are confusing me.
So the other ways to fulfill this task are:
1. read a book that has the same title as the movie even if it is not an adaptation
2. Read another book by the same author who wrote the book the movie was adapted from
Is that right? So for Sissy Spacek, I could read Stephen King's Carrie, or another book called Carrie or a different Stephen King book?

Yes, that's correct. You have 3 options to apply to the actor tasks.
Thanks for pointing out that Sissy Spacek acted in a Stephen King movie. I can apply The Outsider to it. I would have completely missed that.

Yes, that's correct. You have 3 options ..."
win, win!

Yes, you may. You can also use The Green Mile for Tim Curry since he acted in It by Stephen King.
I reviewed some of my actor tasks last night and made some adjustments. I'm going to read The Cuckoo's Calling for John Hurt because he acted in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - both written by J.K. Rowlings.

J.K. Rowlings is also Robert Galbraith? I think I may have known that.

Which movie are you matching this with?
An omnibus or anthology of short stories will count for any task long as you read the entire thing.

Yes, I'll accept it.

Yes, she is. If you look at her profile page, it states that she also writes as Robert Galbraith, and links to that profile page.

Which movie are you matching this with?"
No idea why I wrote Tim Curry. I think just because he was mentioned above. I have it tagged for Ralph Fiennes.

I was scratching my head. You're good to go, then. LOL!

Yes, it will.

Yes. I accepted one for Kristie with a profile of a similar size, so you're good to go too.

Yes, it will."
Oh goody! This is total happenstance - I was looking at the last few books I've read to compare them with the challenge tasks. So glad it fits!

I think you're safe to read it for that task.

Awesome, thank you!!!

For the 1977 to 2000 task, does the book have to be set completely between these dates? I read a book over the weekend that starts in June 1977. It is almost all set in 1977, but there are a few chapters in 1927 that introduces a major character that will tie in with the story set in 1977. Will this fit or no, because of the 1927 chapters?

Yes, it will fit.

Nice! Coincidentally, I'm listening to the oldest book on my TBR list - alas, it doesn't fit the ZZ challenge, but nevertheless, I'm also excited about it falling off my list. It's a good listen too.

:-) when was it first shelved? Mine was January 2013!

I did that last week as well. Not sure if it was the oldest on my tbr, but for sure the oldest paper book I own.
I just checked and I shelved (and bought) it in June 2014. It did feel very good to get it out of the way!

Would this teapot on

Read a book that has an urn, jug, or other vessel used for holding water. (Glasses, cups, mugs are accepted)"?

(Read a book where illness (mental, emotional or physical) is a major theme.)

My oldest book on my TBR keeps falling off and I keep putting it back. I have it back on my August planned reads list.

Sept 26, 2011 (I still have a couple of other titles from that date left)

Good luck on getting those off your list, Cherie. I have about 40 from 2013 hoping to wean hem off my list - there are some great ones there. The Red Tent is now the oldest - I think I'm the only one who hasn't read it!

That's a great idea!

I am so sorry! Yes, I did miss them somehow. Thanks for pointing it out to me Peggy.
Both books - Peggy's and Anna's will work for their respective tasks.

Rusalka has done one like that before, Kristie. I think Janice has too.
