No problem. Just thought I’d ask :-)

Love this question!

Just sayin: I saw someone has used a title in another language (which differs from its literal translation) for the Gemini task

I answer questions all day long so when hubby asks me what is for dinner, I glare at him. I don’t want to make another decision! Lol

..."
LOL

I've definitely been in that position before. I've actually told my husband, "We are not having that conversation now. I don't want to make any more decisions." Or, sometimes it's, "I can't think anymore." lol

It does translate to something completely different, doesn't it? I can't remember what was decided. I think if it was a direct translation, it would be considered. But the book was published as "Wonder", and also as (if translated directly to English) The Lesson in August. So I would count them as two different titles.
You couldn't just use that for your August in title task, and make my life easier? LOL!

Yeah, I figure it's ok because it doesn't translate to the same title. I just wanted to confirm.

Further to Peggy's response, the rules do state that you count books from the time you start. So if you post your thread today, your challenge starts Feb 14th, and books you read prior to that date don't count.
If we allowed books from January 1st onwards, it would be like picking ripe apples that have fallen from the tree instead of getting on the ladder and plucking them from the tree.

LOL! She's 17/18 regardless of the curse. You can use it.

Some people call it creative. Others might call it bending the rules. LOL!
We should have a thread just for these wild questions:
Is a turban a hat?
Does a bathtub count as a water-bearing vessel?
She was cursed to look like a granny, but she's really 17/18. Honest!

When people ask me, "Can I ask you a question?" I respond, "You may, but do I have an answer?" And if I don't, I can do a good job of fudging.

When they ask me that, Janice, I usually tell them that I can probably give them an answer, but if I cannot, I can usually give them the name of someone who can. In my group, if someone cannot answer a question (or doesn't want to take the time to explain) - they usually tell the person asking to come and ask ME!

I feel these are all legitimate questions.
Mainly coz I ask most of them lol!

I found this one Fun Things to Do with Milk Jugs

I love this one!

Anyone have dog breed called a Jug?
It is a cross between a Jack Russell and a Pug. Here is a book for you.

Sorry, Beth. Yes, I knew it was not for the Yearly challenge. (It looked blue to me, but was not my call.) ;o)

That's OK, I enjoyed it so much I don't even mind that it doesn't fit into the challenge anywhere.

Have you already filled your Horror spot? I used it for Turquoise -Magic.

I looked the book up and it is classified under horror.

I'm on the fence about mental illness. Unless (view spoiler)
I didn't even consider animal profiles when I designed that task, so no to that one.
I think it would work best for "magic" theme.
I agree with you about the horror genre. It does fit the criteria for the task, in that "horror" is listed on the main book page. I won't be shelving it as such because it seems to fit dystopia more than horror in my opinion. Ah, it's one of those blurry lines.

Awesome! It was a fun book, wasn't it?

Yes, I'll accept it.

Thank you
