Please, I’m in a rut!

I am in desperate need of recommendations. I have read almost every popular alpha male book I’ve seen. I am I a rut. I really am looking for those gut wrenching stories that draw you in and won’t let you put the book down. I am not into historical or fantasy. Please help!!

I'm sure somebody must have recommended Anne Stuart's Ice series beginning with Black Ice. Beyond alpha, excellent wrenching. 👀

I stalked your bookshelves and I think you like the guys that can be a bit of a jerk (so do I) and so I definitely agree with Anne Stuart's Black Ice, you may also like Shannon McKenna's McCloud's & Friends and Rebecca Zanetti's Sin Brothers, Carolyn Crane's The Associates and she's aka as Annika Martin and I just devoured and loved

Have you read any Kristen Ashley books? Her heroes are alpha, so I’m pretty sure you must have! But I’d recommend them anyway. Some series more than others have that alpha hero, gut wrenching feeling you’re after.
Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter Books. These are paranormal, but I wouldn’t say they were fantasy :-)

I have read almost all of Kristen Ashley. I love her books.

have you read Sam Mariano's Morelli series? I highly highly highly recommend. An alpha male? Check. Angst? Check. Drama? Check. Being torn with what your head is and having your heart ripped out? Check!!! :p

You have good taste, Lauren! I love Kristen Ashley's books too. Sweet Dreams (Tate and Lauren, yay!) is a particular favourite of mine.
