At the Nelson place in Minnesota, Stephanie has to shoot and kill Wilson, the hit man hired by Dalmadge. Did you understand her later trauma about having taken a man’s life, even though she saved Joe’s and her parents’?

I think most people would have trauma from killing someone, even if that someone deserved it. You'd probably dream about it for the rest of your life.

[Jonetta]

That was my feeling, too, Robin. I paused, closed my eyes and tried to imagine myself shooting someone in my home in self defense. It was very uncomfortable and I know that would change me drastically.

She is a computer geek, not a black ops operative. She was defending Joe and her parents, but even so, she never contemplated having to take a life, even in defense of herself or others. It showed her very sensitive nature.
