G.G. | 237 comments I wonder if I might trouble a librarian to add a new edition of New French Feminisms please. My edition has the same cover as the paperback already on Goodreads, but the ISBN number is 0-8052-0681-7, and it was published in 1981 by Schocken Books. If you could also add the second editor, Isabelle De Courtivron to this new edition (and any other editions where her name is missing), that'd be great!
Many thanks in advance.

Sandra | 31477 comments That ISBN number is already in the database, and the only difference I can see is the publish date. Pantheon appears to be an imprint of Schocken Books and we use the imprint name if we know it.

There were many reprints of this book during the 80's, particularly 1981, and GR policy says we don't add books with the only thing different being the publish date.

I'll check to see if any editions are missing the 2nd editor, and if so I'll add them.

Wonderful Sandra: thank you so much for your clarification of Goodreads policy and your efforts to add the second editor's name! I can see that I need to learn more about the difference between a publisher and an imprint!

Sandra | 31477 comments Publishers publish under many different names, usually its something like Penguin Childrens, but Penguin also uses Vintage, Hamish Hamilton, Michael Joseph etc etc
