SOLVED. Graphic novel about a girl in a coma? [s]

So this is a book I read around 2013, I lended it from the school library but haven't for the life of me been able to remember what it's called!
From memory, it's a graphic novel in black and white about a girl who has ended up in a coma (might have been from a motorcycle or car crash?). There's lots of symbolism in it about going to the light and doors and stuff, but I don't remember details, just that it was really good. There were also parts I think where she could see the people visiting her in the hospital at times. I've always thought the title might have been 'broken' or something along the lines of that, but nothing ever comes up when I search on google.
(Also it's not If I Stay, though they have similar plot lines ahaha)
