Despite being abandoned as an infant and left to fend for himself, Calvin is determined to be more than just another statistic. Armed with an iron will and aided by a bit of luck, he matures into respectability; far from the streets whence he came. A small group of likeminded misfits accept him into their fold and they soon become akin to the family he never had. Alas, the peaceful existence he spent his entire life trying to attain is abruptly shattered when he's forcefully thrust onto a path of self-discovery which inexorably leads to a showdown with gods, Titans, and primordial forces which shape the very fabric of our universe. His motivator and tormentor in equal measure is the ancient and mysterious dragon, Delphyne, who seeks to use Calvin to settle an age-old score.

Tired of being constantly surrounded by death, Hades - god of the underworld, has given up his immortality in favor of a peaceful human existence. His enemies see his mortality as a weakness to exploit while others consider his sojourn amongst the living as an unacceptable threat to their best laid plans. To complicate matters further, a reunion with his estranged wife and her new lover stirs up emotions which he’d hoped were long buried.

Beyond petty grievances and ambitions is a grudge match between elemental forces culminating towards a disastrous conclusion with both man and god used unwittingly as kings and pawns.
