The genre of the book “The only thing to fear”. This book does not belong to a series. This book is 280 pages. For me it was an easy read because i love the idea of the book and wanted to know what the author thought would happen if the nazies won the war. The book has a lot of facts and is at least in my mind more interesting than a lot of other books in this topic and genre. This book is written in formal style writing. The plot of this story is it's been about 80 years since hitler won the war and he has created a bunch of super soldiers and a 16 year old girl named zara lives in the eastern half of the county where the nazies control everything from jobs to genetics trying to keep the perfect race intact. Its set in the united states. One thing this book is good at is painting an easy picture in your mind i was easily able to do so. The author draws you into the setting by telling you all the things that are different about what hitler's doing that didn't happen in our world meaning like the differences between jobs and the interaction between the people and government. The main character is zara the villain in this story is hitler. What makes them interesting is hitler is a real person and it's fun to see how the author had zara take down hitler. I think everything about this story is very believable which in my eyes makes it better and they act like people they have normal thought process for the most part. Zara faces the fact that shes being chased by nazies and hitler is in danger because he is having attempts on his life. I think zara is very understandable i mean no one really likes hitler.Zara was my favorite character because she's kinda the hero and main character. The theme of this story is if you put your mind to something you can achieve it.The main thing that the reader will think about after they read the book is what do they think the united states would be like if the Nazis won the war, this makes it worth reading because that's a crazy question that you could think about for a long time. I liked this book because the events that happened seemed plausible and the main idea behind it was very intriguing to me. I think people that like history and action would really like this book. It's a lot like the other book she wrote called live in infamy which was about the same thing what would have happened if a specific country didn't win a certain war and i think it's better than a lot of books in its genre because it's some what believable. This book definitely made me think about it for a few days because i was just thinking what i thought it would be like if we lost the war. I like the author's style because it doesn't feel all over the place like i can follow along and still be thinking about what's happening. I think the author did a good job of doing what they were attempting because i felt the book was good.I felt the book was complete because she defeated Hitler and that's kinda the end. There are parts that seem unlikely in this book but nothing is really too far fetched. My favorite part was when they defeated Hitler because no one likes Hitler. I wouldn't have done anything different if i was the author i thought it was well written.I give this book 4/5 stars
