The hero was taken or kidnapped from his parent by a powerful witch or supernatural being who hates men. She keeps these men prisoners under the supervision of women who also hate men. These men are not normal with many of them living for a long time and have special abilities. The hero believes his parents gave him up to the evil woman for money but later finds out it's not true. He has the ability to either control fire/produce it from his body or control lighting, cannot remember which it was. The heroine was also taken by the evil woman and was given this evil creature that makes her kill - she was returned to her parents by the evil woman after giving the little girl the creature. I think the heroine can turn into a spider like a creature that wants to kill what the heroine loves. The more in love she falls for the hero the more she tries to kill him. One time actually hits him with an icicle which hurts his ability. He has other friends with him who were also kidnapped and held prisoners. I think the hero rides a motorcycle and I believe the heroine is estranged from her family.
