Basically what I said in title....

The heroine of this paranormal (romance???) Series can speak to dead people, she is friendly with one in particular who was homeless while alive and she brings him alcohol in exchange for info... and she has a pet gargoyles who eats nuts/bolts/hub caps !!! Lol

I was weary of adding a couple of things to my original post because I'm scared I may be mish mashing details from different series but I think there are two men involved in her life that are strictly friends and basically like brothers to her... I seem to remember in one of the later books of the series that she gets called away to court and is put on trail??? (I think this series is ongoing)

Nope that last part doesn't' ring any bells, it was the gargoyle that made me think of the Alex Croft series :) I'll keep an eye on this post so I can add to my TBR too.
