I felt the same about the writing. It doesn't flow very gently. The characters and the story are amazing, but the writing is hard to push through sometimes.

Agreed. I kind of felt the same way about Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. The story and the writing were beautiful, but it wasn't an easy read. Though that was was much harder to read than this series. =P

I didn't know what to expect with this book (I didn't read anything about the series before starting), but the plot seems pretty interesting. It's difficult to keep up with the different guy characters for me though... they're all kind of mashed together in my brain right now.

Maybe this isn't the best book in an audio format. I mean, the narrator has a nice voice, but everyone kind of sounds the same, which I think might be helping contribute to my character confusion. I'll probably need to switch to physicals or kindle to finish the series...
I love that quote, "Why are you asking me?" "Because you're an adult, and you're supposed to have learned things on your way to old age."
Callah is grumpy, and also my favorite person ever because of it haha. The whole Nieve scrying thing was creepy as all get out.

It's really cool that Maggie Stiefvater composed and performed the music on this audio book! I also think that the reason I had so much difficulty with keeping all the boys straight in the audio book version wasn't so much the narration, but the fact that Noah wasn't visible to everyone else. It was hard to keep everyone straight because nobody else saw Noah...
Also, it was after the first tree visit that Adam really started disliking Guensey. Does he suspect something going on between Guensey and Blue?
All in all, I really enjoyed this book! (once I got everyone straight in my brain haha)

I am not sure how I feel about the introduction of new characters this late in the series. I don't know what to think of the girl Ronan pulled out of his dream or Henry, who I have a feeling is going to become more of a character? I can't believe that Noah did that Blue. I know that wasn't really him since his actual self seems to be waning the longer he has been dead, but it is really creepy what he is turning into. It is also sad. I wish there was a way to bring him back, but than someone else would probably have to die.

That demon that Piper released is pretty scary. It has the power to just destroy (they refer to as "unmake") things. That is a really dangerous power. How are they going to defeat him? Also, Artemus has been really annoying and useless. I hope he improves soon… If he is in this book then I am assuming he will do something important by the end. (hide spoiler)]

I thought that the ending of this book/series was really well written. I actually really like how Cabeswater gave Gansey his life back instead of Glendower like we all originally led to believe. I also really enjoyed the epilogue, however, I do wish it went more into the future. Are Gansey and his family okay? What is Blue planning on doing? Does she get into college? Does Artemus ever become more normal? So any questions still, unfortunately. Overall still a great series. 3.5/5 stars. (hide spoiler)]

I wonder who this Gray Man/ Hit Man guy is. Could he be related to Ronan? Also, I really feel for Adam. I know his whole "woe is me" thing may get tiresome, but it's hard to remain positive all the time when you're surrounded by others who have had less obstacles in their way.

Noah and Blue's kiss was bittersweet. Blue can't ever kiss her true love and Noah will never be able to kiss a girl again. I hope that things work out, that Noah gets to live again and that Blue can let Adam down in the nicest way possible.

Poor Adam. When he finds out that Blue is in love with Guernsey, it will just be one more thing that Guernsey has that Adam doesn't. I wonder if this will be what breaks their friendship. Will they be able to survive this? And I'm beginning to wonder... is Ronan in love with Guernsey? Or Adam? Or Noah? Why does he blow up when he gets teased by Kravinsky about liking guys? Are there more dream thieves like Kravinsky and Ronan?

Penelope's death is so upsetting. Was she trying to save Moira? I can understand why Adam is so upset.. everything seems to be topsy turvy. This crazy lady is pushing everybody's buttons. I wonder if it's on purpose, or if it's just because she's been awake for a gazillion years. I would not have kept my cool as well as the majority of these characters.
Does anyone else picture Mad Madam Mim from The Sword in the Stone when this lady comes up?

I'm glad that Blue and Guernsey came clean about their relationship. While, yeah, it should have been done awhile ago, it's also really hard to divulge a secret you know will deeply hurt your friend.
