I can't believe he did that!! It was hilarious and...it makes me itchy...!! hahaand now...to see if I can trust him -_-
sometimes I wonder if he should be dead by now, he's using magic like crazy and supposedly the more he uses the older he gets, of he's aging a year a day plus he's aging after every magical use...and is every trick taking the same amount of 'age' from him? hmmmm
Joan likes girls, I'm sure of it!And her husband is a narcissist but if he's handing out free computers....>.>

Well, think back be wasn't that old when he stopped taking the elixir and he only used his magic a couple of times so he couldn't have aged more than a decade. Although I do wonder how aging and magic use are related.
I got the feeling he used a lotthe one time with the trees (at the dojo), when the book first started (against Dee), in the shadow realm, the sugar, with Machiavelli? [i can't see without my glasses] against the zombies (when they were with the witch)...etc
and to reiterate what I said before: sophie grah! I'm startng to see her as a douche and I don't want to because I'm seeing things as they are from Josh's perspective, then again, when it's from hers she just says stuff that makes me want to slap her! Dx Like the whole 'i've always wanted a sister so...' and then she goes off and contradicts herself. 'oh i must!' and 'you don't understand' and 'i don't want this'bleh

But Josh can get away with it because he's retarded, he does things without thinking, it's in his character to be faulty, Sophie on the other hand is supposed to be logical
is the next book a spoiler? is it hinting that perenelle is going to escape by then and then train the twins?!
No, just...no. These things are supposed to be powerful and merciless and here we have Sophie who has yet to be in a serious battle beat them? No
Lisette wrote: "No, just...no. These things are supposed to be powerful and merciless and here we have Sophie who has yet to be in a serious battle beat them? No"Well Sophie is supposed to be one od the legendary twins that are all powerful and everyone is waiting for so its not unbelievable that she could do that.
yes it is, she needs more trainingand by training i mean something not along the lines of talking to the count for 15 min
this is stretching it but...does Machiavelli like Perenelle?! Pg 319, Dee has sent the Morrigan to Alcatraz and Machiavelli is all like, "what have you done?" le gasp!
(that specific enough? do you want my sticky notes, my margin notes, the diagram? :P)

It's pretty vague, but I kinda understand. It seems that Machiavelli is scared/respects Parenelle more than liking her.

Yeah, I realized that afterwards?
Ugh, this book has mentally exhausted me.
And Josh is special as in Stupid beyond help
to have gone willingly with Dee and Machiavelli
To have considered to be trained by Machiavelli
Even after he confirmed that he was even more dangerous than Dee (which I currently doubt)
And to have agreed to pay the price, whatever it may have been, to the war god just so that he could be awakened...
(though Dee killed the war god which was a bit too convenient...?)
Josh is a special person that needs a special type of logic to completely understand. I'm not sure why he would even consider it after knowing what Dee has done. He seems kinda desperate to be a part of a world that his sister is part of. I think that Machiavelli is more dangerous than Dee but unlike Dee, Machiavelli has a conscious that makes him less dangerous/reckless/desperate.
And I'm still going to bash on Sophie, here goes:That one deal that the god of war wanted and she refused, hmmm, I don't think she REALLY meant it
If she could make it so that they had never been awakened, then she wouldn't really be able to interact with certain people
At least, not like she is now
