Readers needed for seal of approval (free books)

Hi guys,

I wasn't too sure where to put this, but beta readers seemed like the best place for it. I am part of a team helping set up a small company whose aim is to connect readers with great quality indie books (www.facebook.com/pulpgrindpress for more info while we finish up our website). These will be both pre-release and currently released books.

Essentially, indies submit books, our staff does an initial stage of assessment, if it passes we ask for a copy of the book and send it to our readers. As a reader you'll be sent books in your genre and of your preference, there will be no obligation to read every book offered to you (just let us know if you don't have the capacity at that time and we'll head to another reader to replace you). All we ask if that you fill in the form (ideally within the two-month period) and we assess the book based on your feedback and that of our staff. This is also great for reviewers, as you'll be receiving free copies of books that you'll be able to review as well.

It sounds to me like you're offering more of a ARC (Advanced Reading Copy) service than beta readers. Beta Readers generally come before the books are published, not after.
