Seems like might be just Mrs. Murphy. Working with libraries in the adjacent county is hard.

I know library books can be difficult to deal with in a particular time frame. I am lucky to have a large TBR pile and can pick my 5 sets from things I have in house.

I was caught up on the Danger Cove series, now I have the most recent 6 books in the series to read to get caught up again. Good thing they are generally quick and enjoyable reads.

I finally finished both of my books for December - the Snow Globe Mysteries by Christine Husom: Snow Way Out and The Iced Princess. Both were good, but didn't involve Christmas! Oh, well. I will definitely continue on in the series.
