TEAM FROST: ROUND FIVE

BONUS BOOK:

And I finished my book, Through the Tunnel. I do still need to review it, but I was amazed by how many categories it fits! At least a half-a-dozen of them. Grace, it also has a character in it that knits, so if you don't have time to read the bonus book I could count it for that. I am planning on reading more in the next couple of days, so I'm sure I could read and review two books for the challenge.

Yay on finishing your book! It's cool that it can fit more than one task!
I plan to read both of my books, I just don't know how much time I will be able to read, because of work. So if I am unable to read the bonus book, I'll let you know. :) Thanks for the help.

Since I was able to read that book pretty fast, I should be able to get to read The Amish Doll and review it in time. =) But we'll see how everything works out.
And cool Tiffany! =)

Thanks for updating us, Tiffany and Grace. I'm still planning on reading another book before the 23rd, but my brother's wedding is this weekend so I don't know.
Deanne and Jamie haven't said what books they're reading, yet, right?

Yay for posting your review Karis!
Congrats to your brother, Karis! I understand with the possibility of not having enough time to read two books before the 23rd, I should be able to read my bonus book and review it before then.
And no problem with the updates, I'm having a lot of fun doing this challenge. ;)
I saw that Deanne was thinking about what book to do, but I haven't seen a update to which book she is reading. As for Jamie, I haven't see any comments to what book she would like to read yet.

*Read a book that has a TURKEY or PUMPKIN PIE on its cover or in its text.

Okay, thanks for letting us know, Deanne.

Hey Karis! I just got both books read, and should have both reviews written very soon. I should have them posted on Monday afternoon or early Tuesday morning. =)

Okay! Thanks! I wasn't trying to pressure you.

Don't worry Karis, you weren't pressuring me at all. I pretty much had them ready to go. And they are up now! Yay! ;)

UPDATE: I moved your team's task list to a more recent post.

I think that I'm going to do the task #11. Yuletide Fire and read the book ANCIENT: Rise of Noah if that's okay with everyone else.
What is everyone else going to read? I don't think that I'm going to be able to read the bonus round task this time, so that's opened to anyone who would like to.

Tiffany wrote: "Flaw Abiding Citizen Is this cover red enough?"
Yep! Task #35 is still available.
I think that the cover for Flaw Abiding Citizen looks more orange than red. But that could be because of the edition that Goodreads is showing. So I'm not sure if it would fit the bonus part of that task.
But it might work for task #2 Thanks-giving (November 23) (which is also still opened) if the book has the words “THANKFUL” or “GRATEFUL” in the text.

So, that to say I'm going to be rather busy. I have a book I'm hoping will have arrived at my library in time for the challenge; it's in transit now, so I have high hopes. It's calledSugar and Ice and would work for task #33 or the bonus task. I don't think I'll have time to do two books this round though.
Also, Jamie didn't even comment ever last round to choose a book. Could someone maybe see if she's up to reading a book this round, so if she doesn't say anything it won't be rushed for someone else to try to fill her place?

No problem Karis. I hope that you will feel better soon! Being sick is no fun.
I just sent Jamie a message, so we will wait and see.
I might use Sugar and Ice for Task #33 and see if someone else has time for the bonus task.

Yes Tiffany, the cover of this book is mostly red and will work for any red cover requirement. :)

Okay, that's what I'll do then, Grace.

I am currently reading
The woman in the window by AJ Finn

Hey Jamie! =) Thanks for coming back, we all missed you here.
I haven't read The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn so I wouldn't know which task it would fit. But it might fit task:
#2. Thanks-giving (November 23)
*Read a book using one of the following options:
- “THANKFUL” or “GRATEFUL” is in the text.
- THANKSGIVING in the title.
or task:
#12. Advent/Christmas Cards
*Read a book that has a CALENDAR or CARD on its cover, in its title, or in its text.

Yay Tiffany! And thanks so much for offering to do the bonus book. =D

This quote would just need to be lengthened a bit to show that the skates are the kind used to skate on ice, with a page #. :)

*Read a book that has a CALENDAR or CARD on its cover, in its title, or in its text.

ROUND SIX: TEAM FROST
January 24th-February 7th

BONUS BOOK:

*Jamie - Since you've finished reading and have rated The Woman in the Window, you now just need to review the book, and post your review post here.

#19. Christmas Party/Gathering
*Read a book that has a gathering of people at Christmas on its cover or mentioned in its text.
There is a gathering of family and friends for Christmas, but it's on the 20th of December not on Christmas day. Did you mean a gathering at Christmas time (obviously to celebrate Christmas) or a gathering on Christmas day itself?

I just messaged Jamie about her #2/Round 6 review/post. :)
Keep in mind that Round 6 ends when this clock reads 11:59 pm (PST) on Tuesday, February 6th (tomorrow), so review posts need to be completed by this day/time to count for this round.

I would say that a Christmas gathering will work for task #19 even if it isn't on Christmas day, as long as it's around the time of Christmas and it's obvious that Christmas is being celebrated at the gathering. :)
