I'm glad there's no spoilers here since I didn't get to read book 2 yet, but I agree with the majority here, Maxon is the better choice. Aspen's just a jerk!

I love how Maxon tells her that if she says yes, he'll send everyone else home that day, it's adorable.

Maxon was one of the sweetest characters I think I have ever read. :) I don't think I would want America to be with anybody else. The Aspen/America thing never stuck out to me as a couple.

It has been team Maxon since the first book 100% He just draws you in straight away with his personality 'that really is not possible in non fiction' !

I finished the series, and I like Maxon WAY more

So much better because of all those reasons.
He cares more about America and her freedom, and if she is happy wayyyyy more then Aspen. And he's a prince!!!
He's so kind and even when America is yelling he still believes in her. So supportive.
I just finished The One today and like Maxon better.
