I need help finding a story.

I read a story a while back and I cannot for the life of me find it again. It is about a female werewolf who barely escapes her pack with her life and is found (while she is still in wolf form) by a man hiking in the mountains. The man, as far as I remember, was a military veteran who had lost a limb (I believe it was his leg) during a war and decided to move to a remote mountain area to escape the prying eyes of those around him. The two slowly begin to trust one another an eventually fall in love. It is an absolutely beautiful story that I wish to read again. If you have read this story on here or another site please let me know.

Well... After several years of searching I think I know what the problem is... It was a story I read on Quizilla while the site was still alive. It's no wonder why I can't find it now. Probably lost forever.
