Hi Marta, I know there is a lot of work going on with comics lately so I'm sure someone will respond. A suggestion if I may - Will you please edit your subject and change "books" to comics"? I think it will help grab the right peoples attention.

I answered on another thread, but just in case someone arrives here looking for a response, we usually create two series, one for the individual comics and one for the TPBs (trade paperbacks, the original compilations).The individual comics are primary on their own series. The TPBs appear there but are not primary.
The TPBs are primary on the TPB series, and individual comics are not added there at all.
For example: Thor, Volume IV and Thor (2014).
Sam, the librarian who created the series: https://www.goodreads.com/series/1379... put all of the comics as principal books, following the same numbering as the title, and the recopilations as book 1-5 and the orher book 6-8.
Today I entered the series and saw that someone removed the comics thor #1 through #8 (and left them with no series) and renamed the recopilations from book 1-5 to book 1 and book 6-8 to book 2.
I saw that another series for thor: https://www.goodreads.com/series/178015 is the same. It has only included the recopilations of the comics, and the comics that are numbered are inside this other series: https://www.goodreads.com/series/1708... and they are listed as no primary work...
My question is which solution should be used according to librarian rules? I thought the one haveng all comics and recopilations of those comics inside the same series was the correct one, but now I have some doubts and I read a lot of comics and ask here to be included inside the series as they are without one.
